The brand was founded in Japan in 1926 as “ISEKI Farm Implement Trading Co.” and initially produced rice hulling and rice sorting machines. As part of a licensing agreement with Porsche Diesel, the company later began manufacturing tractors that meet the specific requirements for use in rice fields – previously imported tractors had proven to be too large and too heavy.

Today, ISEKI exports its wide product range, including compact tractors, mowers and attachments, to Germany as well as many other European countries. ISEKI Maschinen GmbH is the location of the European headquarters.
